After a lot of testing we have established that birch plywood will be the base material for all modoola products. We love birch plywood for its strength, sustainability and simple beauty. Our birch is sourced from FSC-certified Latvian and Russian forests, planted and cultivated for this purpose.
Our experience in producing touring sets and props means we have applied the same design sensibilities to Modoola. It was important to us that assembling the Modoola desk is simple – no tools, no fixings. Modoola easily slots together and takes minutes to assemble.
Prototype development is going very well, we are pleased to show you some pictures of Sam sanding one of our prototypes before the photoshoot.
